**Who We Are**
We are people brought together by our childhood experiences in children's homes. Each of us has walked our own path, full of challenges, obstacles, and important lessons. These very experiences taught us to support one another, understand each other, and find the strength to stick together.
We believe that our past doesn't have to define our future. Instead, it can become a source of courage, empathy, and motivation to help others. That’s why we founded an organization that creates a safe space for people to meet, share experiences, and support one another as they look for understanding, friendship, and new opportunities.
Our goal is to help people overcome life's obstacles, support personal growth, and show that everyone has value—no matter where they come from or what trials they've been through. We want to be a place where no one is alone, and where you can always find a helping hand, encouragement, or inspiration.
We also strive to change how society views people—not by their past or common prejudices, but by their true abilities, values, and humanity. We believe that openness, respect, and helping one another can change lives for the better.
It doesn't matter where we started. What matters is where we are going together. Because together, we can achieve more.
"In unity there is strength."

**About Us, Our Real Story, and Long-Term Projects**
Welcome to Klubovna pro volný čas z.s. (Leisure Time Clubhouse, a registered non-profit association). We are at the very beginning of our journey, but we have a clear vision, a huge heart, and an unwavering will to help. Although our organization has a registered virtual office in Prague—because we didn't own any property when we started and prefer to invest all our funds directly into helping people—all our operations are actually run from Olomouc. However, by using modern technology, we successfully break down geographic barriers, helping people and collaborating with members all across the Czech Republic.
📜 **The Founder's Real Story: Life Lessons That Taught Me to Help**
Klubovna wasn't started by armchair sociologists. It's driven by the life story of our chairman and statutory representative, Jaroslav Pekař, who has been through his own personal hell and knows just how much it hurts when life knocks you down.
"When I was young and foolish, I was absolutely convinced that I was the type of person who would never get married. But fate had other plans. Over time, I grew to deeply long for marriage and a complete, functional family. I found a woman who already had a two-year-old child. Because the child didn't have a father listed on the birth certificate, I agreed out of pure love and a desire for a family to be registered as the father. At the registry office, it was very simple—just one signature and I was a father.
But being a family man these days is incredibly complicated. I quickly found out that taking care of a family and providing for them isn't nearly as easy as a young person imagines. Then came some massive blows. I went through several difficult stages where my children ended up in Klokánek (a children's emergency shelter), and I experienced the absurd injustice of our laws. You see, my non-biological children belonged to my ex-wife and their biological fathers. Some of those fathers had no interest in them, but some did. Yet, because of our laws, we always had to go through a complex, lengthy court process to deny my paternity just so their biological fathers could actually care for their own children! In our country, the law states (or stated at the time) that when a child is born to a married mother, her husband is automatically listed as the father. And after a divorce, there is even a 300-day protection period. It was incredibly draining mentally and bureaucratically, but thankfully, that's behind me now.
During those years, I had my fair share of dealings with social workers. But I want to make one thing clear: we do not have any internal social workers at Klubovna. We work with social work professionals strictly on an external basis.
Today, when a mom or dad comes to me in a deep crisis, we often cry together. Their difficult life story instantly triggers my own old experiences and memories of my hard fight against red tape. But today, I am no longer defenseless. I've combined my 15 years of experience in direct social care and healthcare with my certified IT education and my official status as a Person with Health Disadvantages (OZZ). I know exactly what people in crisis are going through, and I know how to truly help them." — Jaroslav Pekař, Association Chairman
🛠️ **Where We Are Now: Honest Work from the Living Room**
Let's be real—all of our projects are currently in the preparation and slow-launch phase. We don't have giant offices. Right now, I do everything myself straight from my apartment, where I assemble, clean, and repair computers from scratch for my personal friends and acquaintances.
But I want to offer this hands-on hardware and software experience to the entire country and market. We are already successfully registered in the National Electronic Tool (NEN) and the Public Procurement Bulletin. Our goal is to turn this home-based activity into a professional social integration enterprise that will provide services to cities, municipalities, regions, businesses, and children's homes all over the Czech Republic.
🚀 **Our Upcoming Long-Term Projects**
Once we get our social enterprise running at full speed with your support, we will consistently provide these key services:
**1. Computer Building, Repairs, and Refurbishing**
We will build reliable custom PC setups and provide complete maintenance and refurbishment of older computer equipment for offices, schools, and businesses. The sale of this hardware will then generate sustainable profits that go right back into the wage fund for our at-risk employees.
**2. Digital Agency: Website Design and Social Media Management**
We offer professional website creation and complete social media management, including content creation. Our collaboration follows clear business rules: we first generate and prepare a detailed graphic and content draft for the client. We send this draft to them for approval and feedback. Only after the customer approves our work do we launch the actual live website online.
**3. Education, Tutoring, and Meaningful Leisure Time**
We provide extensive tutoring in school subjects for children whose life circumstances have made it harder to access education. In addition to schoolwork, we take care of their free time by developing their IT literacy and gaming skills. We organize gaming sessions across various platforms, especially the global platform Steam, where we build a community with the kids, teach them fairness, and stick together like one big family.
🎯 **The Social Pillar: Who Will We Employ in Our Enterprise?**
Klubovna is built on the principle that the best help is teaching someone to stand on their own two feet:
* **Parents of at-risk children:** In our integrated social enterprise, we want to prioritize hiring moms and dads whose children have been taken into institutional care or foster care. We will help them secure a stable income, sort out their financial situations, and handle crisis moments so that their family can safely and completely reunite as soon as possible, bringing the children back home. Since I've been through this myself, I know exactly what it's like.
* **Young people leaving institutional care:** We will provide guidance and a working environment for young adults leaving children's homes or any form of foster care, helping them successfully transition to independent living.
* **Safe online part-time jobs for kids:** We will organize practical part-time jobs for older children living in children's homes or foster care. These jobs will take place entirely online, from the absolute safety of the children's home or the home of their guardians. This allows the kids to build work habits without any logistical stress.
🤖 **How We Bridge Artificial Intelligence with Humanity**
At Klubovna, we keep up with the times and keep things completely transparent. All content on our website (text, graphics, and videos) is created with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). This modern approach allows us to save a massive amount on operating costs, meaning we can invest every single crown from sponsors directly into our people. Similarly, for our future projects, we use AI to create initial content, which we then send to our member or client for approval.
But human contact is sacred to us. Our crisis interventions and social meetings are handled exclusively by the association's chairman in person.
We realize that our clients' communication skills can often be very limited because they carry deep childhood traumas that have affected them for life. We don't rush or pressure them. In our online meetings via Google Meet, you deal with a real person who listens with the utmost patience, empathy, and human understanding. In 2025, we successfully managed 217 online crisis and social meetings across the country this way.
Become a member and follow our progress! When you register on our website, you'll get a complete and transparent overview of how we're doing, how far along we are with building the social enterprise, and what's currently happening here. We regularly post on our blog, communicate through our TikTok and Facebook pages, and play with our cards face up. Life isn't easy, but you have to fight and never give up!
